3. Please help maintain order during your visit by lining up in sequence to purchase tickets and enter the scenic area—avoid crowding and blocking pathways or entrances/exits. When entering the park, kindly present your ticket for inspection; pets are not allowed inside the景区.
1. For your safety, please follow the instructions of park staff and adhere to the park’s safety guidelines. Be sure to pay attention to all signage posted throughout the park. The park is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with restricted access from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. the following day.
2. You are currently located within the Wild Elephant Valley area of the Xishuangbanna National Nature Reserve, where the terrain is complex and forest trails frequently see elephant activity—making it a high-risk zone. Visitors are strictly prohibited from straying off the designated trails. In case wild elephants are spotted, certain sections of the trail may be temporarily closed to ensure your safety. Additionally, camping is strictly forbidden—neither in groups nor individually—within the boundaries of the Wild Elephant Valley.

4. As a responsible visitor, please respect the park’s flora and fauna—avoid trampling on the grass, and refrain from picking or damaging flowers and fruits. Additionally, help maintain the park’s cleanliness by keeping the grounds tidy, avoiding littering, and resisting the urge to scribble or carve on surfaces. Remember, the forest serves as the natural habitat for wild elephants and other wildlife—so let’s all work together to protect this precious environment. And please, don’t throw any trash beneath the boardwalks.
5. Xishuangbanna Wild Elephant Valley is a designated fire-prevention area. Visitors are prohibited from bringing flammable or explosive items into the park. Smoking is strictly forbidden in non-smoking zones, and even within designated smoking areas, littering cigarette butts or leaving any sources of ignition is not allowed to prevent fires. Additionally, outdoor cooking activities—whether inside or outside the park—are prohibited. Unauthorized entry into non-tourist areas is strictly prohibited as well.
6. The park features lush vegetation and humid air—please bring your own mosquito repellent or insect-proof medication to avoid discomfort from bites.
7. Within the Wild Elephant Valley Park, the terrain is mountainous. During your visit, please stay orderly when passing through potentially hazardous areas (such as steep, narrow, or slippery, wet paths). Avoid crowding to prevent accidents and injuries. Before exploring, carefully assess whether your current health condition allows for the activity—don’t push yourself beyond your limits or rely on luck. When participating in activities like hiking, be sure to take regular breaks, avoid overly strenuous exercise, and always prioritize safety precautions.
8. Visitors entering the park, please prioritize your safety throughout your visit. While hiking, climbing slopes, taking photos, stepping up and down stairs, or traversing boardwalks, kindly refrain from playing or roughhousing. Always proceed gradually, practice mutual respect, and look out for one another. Additionally, jumping between rocks in the stream or scrambling up small cliffs, trees, or vines is strictly prohibited. Please avoid wearing sandals or high heels during your hike to prevent potential accidents and injuries.
9. Please take care of elderly visitors and children during your tour. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian while exploring the attractions to prevent accidents. Additionally, minors are not permitted to participate in interactive activities at the Elephant Education Park.
10. When touring, please keep your personal belongings safe to prevent them from falling or getting lost; climbing over or scaling the railings is strictly prohibited. Additionally, do not sway or lean against the railings to avoid accidents.
11. All outdoor activities are prohibited within the park. Entry into undeveloped areas is strictly forbidden to avoid accidents. Individuals who enter the park without purchasing a ticket and subsequently experience an accident will be solely responsible for any resulting consequences.
12. When wild elephants are present, please do not startle them for your own safety. Flash photography and loud noises are prohibited. Follow the instructions of park staff at all times. Also, during your visit, avoid approaching any wildlife if you encounter it along the way.
13. To ensure your safety, please follow the instructions of our staff when observing the animals' natural behaviors—entry into the exhibit area is strictly prohibited. Additionally, feeding, teasing, or startling the animals on your own is not allowed.
14. In case of rainy weather, please prioritize safety during your visit—avoid running, playing rough, jumping, climbing, or crowding. Outdoor performances will be canceled in case of rain.
15. Due to limited road space within the park, vehicles must follow the instructions of park staff and park only in the designated parking areas.
16. When shopping in the park, please examine items carefully and make your purchase thoughtfully.
17. During peak seasons, the park sees large crowds. When riding the cable car, enjoying performances, having lunch, exploring attractions (including taking photos), or using temporary facilities, we kindly ask everyone to show mutual understanding and respect the "first-come, first-served" principle—helping make your visit a pleasant and civilized experience as a thoughtful, respectful guest in Wild Elephant Valley Park.
18. Wild Elephant Valley is located within a national-level nature reserve; unauthorized drones are prohibited from entering the park.
19. Riding the cable car involves certain risks. Passengers who fall into any of the following categories should refrain from riding: individuals who are intoxicated, critically ill or suffering from mental health conditions, those with high blood pressure, heart disease, acrophobia, severe psychological disorders, limited mobility, or anyone otherwise unfit for heights. Elderly, frail, sick, disabled, and pregnant guests are also advised not to ride the cable car. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times, and passengers are strongly encouraged to follow the instructions of on-site staff.
20. The cable car ceases operation daily at 5:00 PM. Please plan your visit accordingly—once the ticket-checking time has passed, no further rides will be arranged.
