Attraction ticket prices
1. Ticket Prices
1. Full ticket: 60 yuan per person.
2. Half price: 30 yuan per person.
(1) Minors aged 7 to 18, inclusive of age 18.
(2) Seniors aged 60 (inclusive) to 70 (exclusive).
(3) Full-time undergraduate and lower-level students currently enrolled, holding valid identification documents.
3. Free admission:
(1) Children aged 6 (inclusive) or younger, or those who are 1.2 meters tall or shorter (inclusive).
(2) Senior citizens aged 70 or older, or individuals holding a "Retirement Allowance Certificate."
(3) Disabled individuals holding valid identification documents (including the blind, those with bilateral lower-limb disabilities, and other severely disabled persons)—one accompanying caregiver is allowed free admission.
(4) Active-duty military personnel, disabled veterans, retired and discharged military officers and sergeants, as well as the "Three Categories" (families of martyrs, families of service members who died in the line of duty, and families of deceased service members).
(5) Holders of the Yunnan Province "Xingdian Huicai Card" are eligible for ticket exemptions: A-card holders can bring their spouse and children, with a maximum exemption of 5 people; B-card holders, along with their spouse and children, can enjoy a maximum exemption of 3 people.
(6) Active-duty, retired, and disabled firefighters, rescue workers, and students enrolled in fire and rescue academies are admitted to the park free of charge upon presentation of valid identification. Document No. Yunjing Xifa [2019] 23.
4. Other:
(1) Other beneficiaries explicitly specified by laws, regulations, and relevant policies for exemptions or reductions;
(2) Ticket discounts and exemptions do not include the cable car or any other secondary charges covered under the all-inclusive ticket system.
Note: The scenic area is open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Ticket inspection will stop at 4:30 PM.
Ticket Usage Instructions
(1) To enter Wild Elephant Valley for your visit, please purchase your scenic area ticket through official channels.
(2) Visitors eligible for discounted tickets, please present your discounted ticket along with the relevant supporting documents at the ticket checkpoint after completing the purchase process, so that the ticket inspector can verify your eligibility.
(3) Visitors eligible for free admission, please present your valid free-entry documents at the ticket-checking gate for verification by the staff.
(4) Once a visitor enters the park and their ticket has been validated by the ticket inspector—whether by tearing off a corner, punching a hole, scanning the QR code, or receiving a "Checked" stamp (either pre-printed or handwritten)—the ticket is considered used and is non-refundable.
(5) Wild Elephant Valley strictly enforces a one-ticket-per-person policy; once visitors enter the park, they are not allowed to reuse their tickets or request refunds.
2. Cable Car Prices
1. One-way full fare: 50 yuan per person per trip.
2. One-way child discount ticket: 30 yuan per person per trip.
3. Round-trip full fare: 70 yuan per person per trip.
4. Round-trip child discount ticket: 50 yuan per person per trip.
Explanation:
(1) Children who are 1.2 meters tall or shorter (including exactly 1.2 meters) are admitted free of charge.
(2) Minors measuring between 1.2 and 1.5 meters in height, as well as active-duty military personnel and veterans holding valid officer IDs, are eligible for discounted fares.
(3) Cable car operating hours: Single journey before 4:00 PM; round-trip before 3:30 PM (round-trip cable cars can only be boarded at the Lan Garden station). Please plan your itinerary accordingly—once the ticket-checking time is missed, no further rides will be arranged.
Cable Car Ride Instructions
(1) Riding the cable car involves a certain level of risk. Please refrain from riding if you fall into any of the following categories: individuals with infectious diseases, mental health conditions, severe hypertension, heart disease, acrophobia, or any other situation that could compromise your safety—including those who are intoxicated, have mobility impairments, or experience uncontrollable behavior.
(2) Passengers who require special assistance, please inform the platform staff in advance when boarding.
(3) Horseplay inside the carriage is strictly prohibited.
(4) Do not open the doors, stand, or swing the suspended platform without permission. It is strictly forbidden to lean your body outside the vehicle compartment.
(5) Minors under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult when riding the cable car; solo rides are strictly prohibited.
(6) Smoking is strictly prohibited while riding.
(7) Passengers are strictly prohibited from bringing flammable, explosive, corrosive, or strongly odorous items onto the vehicle.
(8) Please take a numbered ticket and line up for the cable car. For tour groups using a single itinerary, each vehicle must have its own group taking numbered tickets and lining up separately to board.
(9) Cable Car Ride Time: Single-trip cable cars must be boarded before 4:00 PM on the same day.
(10) The round-trip cable car must be boarded before 3:30 PM (Note: The round-trip cable car is available only at the Lan Yuan station platform).
3. Explaining Service Pricing
Within 3 hours: 100 yuan/guide/group.
More than 3 hours: An additional fee of 100 yuan per hour will apply.
That is: For usage lasting 3 hours or more but less than 4 hours, the charge is calculated as 4 hours at 200 yuan; for usage exceeding 4 hours but less than 5 hours, the charge is calculated as 5 hours at 300 yuan, and so on.
Note: Guides specializing in languages other than the local one must be booked one day in advance.
